Warning lights "Motolight"
In the meantime, there is no need to worry about it. ”

Millions of people around the world ride motorcycles, scooters or mopeds. These vehicles are cheaper than cars and have lower maintenance costs. However, motorcycles and their two-wheeled cousins are much more difficult to drive and control than cars or bicycles. Driving at high speed, the driver must maintain balance on two wheels, and at the same time is almost unprotected from possible hazards on the road.

As a result, motorcycles occupy one of the main places in the frightening statistics of accidents in the CIS. Young people are particularly affected by accidents.

Because motorcycles are smaller than other vehicles, they are more difficult to spot on the road than cars, trucks, and buses. Since the rider is not protected by the outer frame of the car and is not wearing a seat belt, he and possibly his passenger are much more vulnerable during accidents. In the event of an accident, the shock wave can throw a motorcyclist onto the road or crush him down with his own motorcycle. In any of these cases, the motorcyclist can be seriously or even fatally injured.

So how do you keep yourself safe on a motorcycle or other two-wheeled vehicle?

In the meantime, there is no need to worry about it. ”

Motorcyclists should make every effort to be as visible on the road as possible. This protective clothing is their main protection on the road. Since a motorcycle is not capable of protecting its rider, motorcyclists must protect themselves.

One of the main causes of motorcycle accidents is the inability of drivers to spot motorcyclists in time. Motorcycles are often difficult to spot on the road as they are small. Darkness, a large number of vehicles on the road, poor visibility or simply reckless behavior of drivers on the road also exacerbate the situation. There are many things motorcyclists can do to make themselves more visible. Motorcycles are equipped with almost the same safety features as cars: headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals. All of these lights should be used! Most European countries have introduced laws requiring motorcyclists to drive with their headlights on, even during the day. This makes them more visible. Correct use of warning lights warns drivers of what the rider is about to do. Bright colors and light reflective stripes on motorcycle clothing also make them more visible.

Motorcyclists should ride in a way that makes it as easy as possible for car drivers to see them. Most car and motorcycle collisions take place at intersections, where the view is obstructed by vehicles turning in different directions. Motorcyclists should maintain a distance between themselves and other vehicles, as well as, if possible, stay out of the blind spots of drivers. The small size of the motorcycles allows them to maneuver between cars and even ride between lanes on high-speed roads. Despite the fact that this behavior is very tempting, especially in traffic jams, it is dangerous, and in some places even illegal.

One of the most effective ways to stay safe in traffic is, of course, the lights on your motorcycle. However, you should not turn your bike into a "Christmas tree" for this. There is a simpler and rather effective way to become visible on the road - signal lights of the stroboscopic type "Motolight". The principle of operation is based on alternately switching on two or more pulsed light sources, which is somewhat similar to the special signals (red-blue, blue-blue) used on special vehicles to ensure their visibility. However, these lamps, in contrast to special signals, have a bright white cold light, similar to the light of running LED lights, which does not contradict traffic rules.

The system consists of a control unit (ML-B) and directly, special lights.

Lanterns "Motolight" consist of an optical system that focuses the luminous flux of a powerful 3W LED and a light temperature of 6500 at an angle of 30 degrees, which creates a narrow luminous flux distributed within 1.5 lanes in the direction of travel and at a distance of up to 500 meters, without creating interference with oncoming traffic. The dynamic switching on of the light always attracts the attention of drivers, both passing and oncoming vehicles, which makes your motorcycle or car an object of increased attention of drivers of passing and oncoming vehicles. Even truck drivers without rear-view mirrors will be able to see you even out of size.

Lanterns "Motolight" are installed below the headlight, which ensures that there is no fusion of light sources of different power, as well as the impossibility of "dazzling" oncoming and passing vehicles.

The Motolight control unit can be connected to standard car running lights. It is possible to control the latter in two modes: running lights - stroboscope (ML-B-10W).

Motolight warning lights have no analogues in the CIS and are made exclusively from domestic and European components!
